West Perth Public Library's Addition

This blog follows the progress of the addition being built on the West Perth Public Library in Mitchell, Ontario. When finished, the addition will almost double the public space and the entire building will be accessible with the inclusion of an elevator. West Perth Library is a Carnegie Library built in 1910.

Boarded up


The sides of the the addition are now being closed in.









And we thought we had accessibility issues before! This is how the construction crew reaches the second floor.
