Forms are off and the walls appear.

On a bright, sunny day the footings are poured and gravel covers the bottom of the hole.

The bump-out into the parking lot where the new accessible entrance will be.

Here We Go

It's a snowy, windy day but digging has started.

Looking down, way down, out of the library window into the hole.

Ceremonial Groundbreaking February 29, 2008

The Hon John Wilkinson, MPP (Perth--Wellington), The Hon Aileen Carroll, Minister of Culture, Mayor John Van Bakel, Library Director Caroline Shewburg and Library Board Chair Charles Fitzsimmons were present along with many members of the library board, staff and community for the Ceremonial Groundbreaking.
